Kick starting a two-wheel life

Tuesday, April 24th, 2007

I just bought this, a Yamaha TZR 125! I took it out for a ride in some nearby car parks last night, and true to popular opinion I stalled it loads of times before I got it to move. When I did, it was awesome. Motor bikes are cool, end of. It has loads of quirks that seem to personify it, and matters such as finding neutral become an absolute art.

The skeptics might ask why a 23 year old with a full driving license wants a 125 motorbike with L plates on? Simple, it’s really good fun. I’d recommend it to anyone. Next step for me? DAS bike test in Norwich. If you do decide two wheels is for you, there is a great community of online bikers who will help you get started.

Antisocial Networking

Someone “tagged” me today, I had to pass up on being part of “the premier social networking destination for the Millennial Generation”. Another antisocial networking site, another stain of the internet. LiveJournal friends, MySpace lovers, Facebook, Faceparty, FaceSpace. Find friends, browse victims, StalkSpace, Preybook.

I would like this for my birthday. I found it in Monkey.

Superbike Super fun

Even this video doesn’t put me off wanting my green Kawasaki Ninja! Bottom line motorbikes, just like smoking, are cool. James Dean, Steve McQueen did both and they were super cool. Any good rock band rode bikes and smoked. Like I said before, I want one. Still need a photo for my desk though. When I have the photo I will post my desk.

Ninja + green = rock

I really, really want one of these! My new goal is to own a superbike, mainly because I think superbikes are cool and I want one before I get anywhere near fat. I need to get a decent picture of a kawasaki Ninja on my desk to help me to visualize my goal of owning one.

When I own one it will rock! For me this is one goal I really want to achieve and I find that having a goal to work towards helps to motivate me to perform at work. My next priority is to get a picture on my work desk!
